Today B has been a cranker butt! But only because all he wants to do is have me constantly pull out the blender, the chopper, the hand mixer, to keep making things-things that he won't eat or drink! It's kind of cute that he just wants to be so helpful. Usually when I am at the stove top, he has to have his own spoon so he can pretend to cook as well. Anyway, today I decided to just throw some things together and I came up with two yummy recipes: Cilantro Style Deviled Eggs and Creamy Soy Iced Mocha. For the deviled eggs make as you normally would, only do not add paprika, just add a pinch of finely chopped cilantro to the egg yolk mix and mix all together. Zesty! I have put the iced mocha recipe below. Enjoy!
Creamy Soy Iced Mocha
1 cup brewed coffee
1 cup chocolate soy milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup dry creamer
2 handfuls ice cubes
Mix all together in a blender, pushing the ice chop button until ice is small. Then set to mix for a bit, then for finer, smoother coffee, push the puree button. Leave on for about a minute or so, or until blended well and no large ice pieces left. Enough for two regular sized coffee cups! Enjoy!
